New document of interest for all those needing advice on the standard of flat entrance doors issued by the government following the Grenfell disaster.

The document identifies the standard required for flat entrance doors where they lead into a shared or communal area to g create an effective barrier for smoke and fire in the critical stages of a fire.
Providing only general information it notes BS 8214 2016: Timber based fire door assembles (code of practice) but does b not give any detailed specifications.
